Learn the fundamentals of horsemanship and develop horseback riding skills with our educational riding lessons located in Killeen, Texas. Saddle Club is a great way to make friends and explore Texas themed outdoor activities for all ages 5+. Begin with basic horsemanship instruction and mounted riding in our exercise pens + full-size arena!
 

At HH Saddle Club you will learn:

• How to approach, halter, lead, tie, groom and tack their horse for the ride

• Assess gear fit and functionality for horse and rider

• Learn riding coordination and balance (walk, trot, lope)

• Understand leg pressure, how to open gates while mounted

• Learn to maneuver obstacles and playday event patterns 

• Treat riding as a sport, and remember that it’s physical and can be hard work.

• Understand the fundamentals of riding. We believe in the power of a versatile equestrian education

 

ALL saddle club riders will be required to master the trot before learning the different seats needed for speed events and riding through varying terrain. We personalize lessons to each individuals skill level!
